COVID-19 DONATION UPDATE
IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
With an abundance of caution, precautions will be taken to put the health and safety of our donors, staff and clients above all else. We do ask if anyone in your household was recently diagnosed with or are having symptoms of COVID-19 to not donate anything at this time.
To reduce exposure, our monthly drop offs will be done outdoors via curbside, on Division Street (just around the corner). As a result, our receiving hours will be predicated on safe weather conditions and may require us to shut done without notice.
We will have volunteers (wearing personal protection) to retrieve donations directly from your vehicle’s trunk. To eliminate possible traffic-flow issues, we ask that you please remain in your vehicle.
Please follow these additional steps when making donations:
- All clothing must be clean, on hangers, ready to wear for our clients and free of any protective coverings (plastic, dry-cleaner bags, garment bags, etc.)
- Do not band multiple hangers together (no rubber band, twist tie, etc.)
- Do not place accessories in bags or containers; we will have bins to receive loose items
- Shoes are to be removed from their boxes/containers
- Be sure and remove all content, including facial tissues and other personal items, from any pockets, purses, totes, etc.
We thank you for supporting Poised For Success in these challenging times.
Stay well, stay safe.
